Thanks for figuring out the constant for me. I have been reading up about gear making but I'm still new to this.

I did look at the FAQ but the listing for a 132 had ? in it. I wasn't sure if other Mikrons would have the same constant.

I would like to test out a helical gear but the only gears I have are those listed in my first post. I was thinking about modifying a set of South Bend change gears hat I have. as long as they fit on the shaft and are the right size to mesh, they should work, right?

I work for a bearing mfg so I literally have thousands of bearings in my garage. I figured a live center would be best, but if a dead center is what is normally used I can make one of those easier.

BTW I finished the drawbar and headstock arbor prototype this afternoon and it works great, I tightened it up by hand but could not remove the arbor without a sharp rap on the drawbar. So 4.5 degrees it is!

I will keep a lookout for Mikron chnage gears, but I'm not holding my breath.
