I have this machine, my machine has the cam for roughing and finishing, as it says very own Don (Don are great, very good!) and pinion gear can be made and can be roughly finished, why did the two cam that I described above, it did not tilt, but this is not a problem because you can adjust as Don said, (cone distance).
certainly use it to finish the pinion is not
recommended, because the corner eccentric act, is not very handy, as is a gleason 16 finisher,
using the radial, and should be used to rough the crown gear. Pinion may be roughed without rolling
after the crown gear is made. By pressing a last pass rolling to give some shape to the helix.
