If the apex is not at the crossing point, then there is a distance called apex to crossing, which is, as Gleason method calculates it, (+) if apex lies beyond crossing, or (-) if apex lies between crossing and pinion. How would you apply "apex to crossing distance" to get MCTB?
Also as you move machine back closer to machine center, does MCTB scale approach 0?
