If you're doing this on a 6, I'm betting your speed is way too low. And like BillS said, unless you've got a sturdy backing plate the part is most likely flexing. Plus 6'es are OLD. It's most likely worn out.You might have better luck getting the parts up to about Rc 30-35. Worn-out old shapers sometimes cut harder material better than soft gummy material.
