Have you explored the FAQ page? There are a number of hobbing topics there that cover a range of hobbing questions and answers.
Briefly, the machine most likely has a differential with change gears. unlocking the differential and applying the correct set of change gears is necessary to cut helical gears.
If it doesn't have a differential you can still cut helicals - that's covered in the FAQ also.
In your manual (if you are lucky enough to have one) you will find the formula that gives you the decimal ratio for differential change gears.
If you don't find what you need in the FAQ, then give us some more detail about any problem you're having.
