You can have an electrician wire a micro switch through the stop switch. Mount the micro switch to the work table and have a dog clamped to the work spindle. You set the position of the dog to trip the stop switch. Then you remove one of the feed gears and manually drive the gear train back to the starting position. If timing is not an issue you can disengage the work table and rotate it back to the start position.
