There are some earlier posts requesting help with fly cutting. I think Your browser will have a "Find" option, so search this page for "flycut".
Maybe you can post the machine type, and whether you are using axial cutter infeed.
I guess the differential plays a part, but I thought the differential only came into use when table feed was used (cutting a cylindrical gear).
