The programs CPC-HOB and CPC-TMILL both contain Over Pin Measurements which include user input for backlash and custom pin sizes.

I used these back in the day for setups and Over Pin Measurements. I had (+) and (-) pin sets, stepped in 0.001 increments. I would use a pin size from each (+/-)set to get an "average" or net pin size that closely matched the size called for by the software. Also, I could vary the pin size in the setup if there happened to be a missing size in one of the pin sets (sometimes a pin would go missing - go figure).
