fellows 8 AGS gear shaper

Does anyone know if a Fellows 8 AGS gear shaper would be capable of cutting internal splines in a 2" wide gear? Most information that I have found only lists it as having a 1 1/2" capacity on the ID. Would it have more capacity if it had a riser in it?
