Tilting head mechanism for manufacturing spiral bevel gears

Hello all,

Is it possible to use the tilting head mechanism to obtain different pressure angles?

I mean, let us have a cutter head with 20 [deg] pressure angle but we need a 18 [deg] blade. If we adjust the mechanism to obtain 18 [deg] pressure angle will the result be same? Notice that the cutter now will rotate about a different axis if we would use the cutter head with 18 [deg].
