Typically bevel gears (in your case miter gears) are manufactured to mesh with shaft angles intersecting at 90 degrees.
This is an arbitrary figure that has been used to produce right angle drives. There is no reason why any bevel gear generator cannot be set-up to generate either a 35 degree pitch angle of a 72.5 degree pitch angle.
As a standard off-the-shelf item we currently offer straight tooth miter gears with 45, 60, 90 and 120 shaft angles.
We would be happy to quote your requirements.
