First things you will need to discover are the machine's index and feed constants. Or instead of a feed change gear set there may be a hydraulic table feed drive.
Next, does the machine have a differential? If yes, what is the lead gear formula?
Also listed in the FAQ are a couple of companies that offer manuals for sale. You might find answers there.
