Most programs that I have come across unless you are asked if you require grinding, calculated the depth of the tooth to a basic constant, the trouble is there are numerous constants. Your program is calculating the depth of tooth on the basic constant of 2.157 multiplied by your Module. Because you want to grind the teeth I would work to a constant of 2.40 multiplied by the Module (Grade 'A' ground gear) which would give a Minor Diameter of 7.320.
