You can multiply or factor numbers from numerator and denominator as long as you don't change the true ratio of the gear set.
In your case, multiply 24 and 41 by 2 to get the ratio 48/82, which does not change the change gear ratio. Also, you can swap the two denominator gears if you want to make the last driven the larger (82T) gear. anything works as long as you don't change the true ratio.
