I am trying to hob serrations and failing. The customer supplied the hob and drawing. The hob information is 100 serrations, 4 thread, R.H. Topping. The drawing indicates 120 serrations required on the O.D. of the blank. The hobbing machine is a single lead. Is it possible to cut 120 serrations with this hob?
