I AM THE GEAR GUY AT VISTEON ENGINEERING, AND WAS AT FORD PREVIOUSLY. THERE ARE 4 COMMON DIFF ARRANGEMENTS:BEVEL, PLANETARY-DUAL SUN, PLANETARY - DUAL RING, AND PLANETARY DUAL PINION, SINGLE PLANE. I HAVE DATA THAT PUTS THE PLANETARY TYPES AT 97% AND UP. NO BEVEL DATA, SUSPECT IT IS NOT NEARLY AS GOOD. THERE IS A GEAR MAGAZINE OUT OF CHICAGO THAT PUBLISHED AN ARTICLE ON THIS SUBJECT ABOUT 8 YEARS AGO. GOOD LUCK. WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON?
