We have cut up to Mod 20 and on one ocasion Mod 24. on our RS3, but as stated previously, rigidity is the most important factor.
On such large modules, climb cutting is an invitation for disaster, and the work warrants lighter cuts.
Sometimes we have used the secondary table (the one used for worm gears) in order to be able to accomodate the larger cutter diameter needed. Also we have modified such a head, by placing separators,(and changing the driving gears), to accomplish this....
