hi there,
i need your expertise help. Where can i refer specs for backlash for parallel shaft gearboxes? I have API 677 that explained about the backlash specs of gears but it seems that the specs are for spiral bevel gears. Can the specs be applied to parallel shaft gearbox as well or is there other document for the specs? Please advise.
