As I remember it, the shaft has a packing washer and a compression nut that squeezes it against the shaft. I suspect that either the compression nut is loose or that the washer is worn out. 'course, it could be leaking around the gasket where the pump mounts. Also, if the shaft bearings are worn out, wobble could make it leak.
It's a simple pump to repair. Be careful not to break the impeller getting the pin out. Its a casting.
The things I hated about it was that the belt is behind the other belts, and keeping the right tension was almost impossible.
