that describes cutter numbers. I don't have a Duplex Helical manual so I don't know if there is an "approved" cutter list integral to the method calculations. Since you don't have a list, it sounds like any (custom) cutter numbers might be employed.

Angle conversion should have no effect on summary accuracy, but often a step in the calculation method involves adding or subtracting angles. Here the units of angle must of course be the same (either decimal or minutes). Some steps ask you to convert Deg/Min to Minutes for comparison or adding or subtracting. It all depends on where in the method the angle is being used. Sometimes a known good summary can make clear a confusing use of angles.

Can you give use the Gleason Machine Model number? Maybe someone else is familiar with the Duplex Helical method for the machine you have?
