We have some old dwgs of "drop tooth" design where the gear data doesn't calculate out - ie: the gear shouldn't be manufactureable - and I'm trying to figure out what piece of data they aren't making the gears to. For example, what has changed in the following callout so they can make this gear: OD = 2.327; pitch dia = 2.0; diametral pitch = 6; number of teeth = 11; measurement over .3456 dia pins = 2.491.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
